In situ remediation

  • Specialized in in situ remediation of contaminated sites (petroleum hydrocarbons; chlorinated solvents such as PCE, TCE…; and others);
  • Environmental remediation by:
    - In situ bioremediation;
    - In situ chemical oxidation (ISCO);
    - In situ chemical reduction;
    - Phyto-restoration.

In situ remediation requires a set of conditions such as the type of contaminants and its concentration levels, favorable soil geology and client needs.

When feasible, in situ remediation can make the cost of environmental site rehabilitations considerably lower.

Since March 2018, the MDDELCC can finance in situ remediation projects through its InnovEnSol program:
